Bearded dragons are omnivorous, which means they need both plant and animal matter in their diet to get the nutrition that they need. Juvenile bearded dragons are in a phase of rapid growth, so they need more animal matter (50-60% of diet) to help fuel that growth. Once they reach adulthood, their bodies switch to maintenance mode and they begin to eat much more plant matter (70-80% of diet).
Zoo Med Zoo Menu Bearded Dragon Food is a low-protein canned diet appropriate for feeding to adult bearded dragons. With a tasty apple flavor, this formula helps entice even finicky bearded dragons to eat.
Instructions for Use:
Feed as much as your bearded dragon will eat in one day. Remove uneaten food at the end of the day and discard.
This is not a complete diet for adult or juvenile bearded dragons. However it may be occasionally used in place of fresh produce within a balanced feeding rotation.
Cover and refrigerate after opening.
